An improved version of the classic, large and sweet leaved Genovese basil. Aroma 2 has a greater resistance to disease ensuring higher quality harvests. The vigorous plants are slow to bolt and productive over a long period. Use the delicious leaves fresh as a garnish or add into soups, omelettes and pasta.
Winner of an RHS Award of Garden Merit for reliability and good performance.
| How To Grow | Sow 5mm (1/4in) deep spacing rows and seeds 20cm (8in) apart. Cover with a layer of soil and firm gently. Keep soil moist and warm. Seedlings appear in 10-14 days.
Pinching out the tip of the main stem will encourage bushy plants and prevents flowering. Ensure the soil is kept moist and weed free. |
