This rustically inspired self-watering mason jar kit contains all you need to grow fresh tasting Thyme. Thyme is a versatile and easy to grow herbs, it’s strong flavour is best when combined with all sorts of robust meat and vegetable dishes. A beautiful stylish gift that is sure to compliment any home.

Ideal for gardens with limited space, or a sunny spot on a patio, balcony or windowsill.

There are five varieties to collect: Strawberry, Basil, Thyme, Mint and Parsley.

Each kit includes 1x grey mason jar, 1x seed sachet (Thyme), 1x soil pellet, 1x metal basket with wick, and growing instructions.

How to Grow

These instructions are the same as the ones you will receive on your grow pot. So if you happen to lose them just come back here!

Hydrate your soil pellet with warm water in a waterproof bowl.

Once the pellet has doubled in size, fluff the soil and transfer to the metal wicking basket. Sow your seeds into the soil.

Fill the glass jar one third with water. Place the basket into the top of the jar, ensuring the wicks are submerged but the bottom of the basket does not touch the water.

Secure the basket in place with the metal ring, discarding the card insert.

Place the jar on a bright windowsill. Continue to keep the water clean and topped up, as required.

Once seedlings appear, replace the water and apply fertiliser every 2 weeks.
